Lunchtimes at Shrewsbury Market Hall just got better than ever with the opening of Pete’s Sandwich Bar.
Pete’s Cafe & Sandwich Bar is already a legend of Ellesmere where it was founded, in 1975, by Pete Vermeulen. His granddaughter Kelsey has opened a branch here in the market hall.
It’s the perfect place to snap up lunch on the go:
- Sarnies and baps made to order – stuffed full of finger-lickin’ homemade fillings and fresh ingredients.
- Fresh salads
- Homemade dawgs, sausage rolls, pasties and scotch eggs
- Flapjacks, tiffins, brownies, cakes and bread & butter pudding
If you’re in a rush, you can also pre-order your lunch in advance via their Facebook page or the day before.
Practically everything they sell is homemade – from the slaw and fillings to the cakes, bakes, dawgs, sausage rolls and scotch eggs. Their eggs and meaty ingredients are all locally-sourced too.
