Last year she packed out the market hall and raised over £900 for the people of Ukraine. Now you can help our singing sensation Libby Gliksman – market trader by day, professional singer by night – raise funds for the people affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria.
Well known Libby, who was nominated among the Midlands top 3 Best Solo Singers, will belt out iconic hits from the balcony of the market from 3.15pm – 4pm on Saturday February 18. And she’ll be accompanied by brilliant pianist Dean Ames.
They’ll be performing songs by a range of artists including Adele, Carole King, Rod Stewart, Ray Charles and more.
So roll up, enjoy a fantastic 45-minute set and put your hand in your pocket to help the Disasters Emergency Committee’s Turkey-Syria Earthquake Appeal. Collection tins will be going round during the concert.
Market stalls and cafes will be open as normal, up until 4pm, and bars Gindifferent and Petitglou will be open right through until 5pm too for you to enjoy a drink and a bite to eat.
