It’s the weekend of the Shrewsbury Food Festival, in The Quarry Park, and you can continue that festival vibe just a hop and a skip down Claremont Hill at our Late Night which always has a festival vibe about it!
Join us for that buzz of the crowd, that ‘holiday taverna’ night out vibe, the street food, the cocktails, the eating and drinking, the little indie shops, the twilight shopping, the beat of live jazz.
Enjoy flavours from around the world with food ranging from Thai, Tex-Mex, and Caribbean to Italian, dim sum, Indian, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, South East Asian and more!
Cafes serve from around 5pm/5.30pm up until 9pm with last food orders generally taken around 8pm/8.30pm, depending on the individual business.
Cocktail and wine bars will be open until 10pm with a small selection of retail stalls open up to 7pm or later.
Most cafes and bars welcome walk-in customers only on the night, while Tutto Bene and Moreish take advanced bookings for pre-ordered set menus and set sittings (booking via Instagram).
Wine bar/café Petitglou and artisan gin parlour Gindifferent will open for cocktails, specialist wines and craft beers and ciders. Tom’s Table café and The Market Café will also be running cocktail bars. Tom’s Table usually serves up live jazz too.
The market hall, located between Shoplatch and Claremont Street, transitions for the evening from 5pm. Last entry to the building is at 9.30pm.
